The Robot Design Game was originally designed in the occasion of the RSS 2016 workshop on Minimality and Design Automation by:
- Andrea Censi (ETH Zürich & nuTonomy, inc.);
- Alli Nilles (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign);
- Dylan Shell (Texas A&M University);
- Jason O’Kane (University of South Carolina).
Many people have contributed by playtesting and suggesting new cards and rules. Major contributors (more than 5 cards or rules suggested, or extensive playtesting) include: Ron Fearing (University of California at Berkeley); Amy LaViers (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign); Ross Knepper (Cornell), Hadas Kress-Gazit (Cornell).
